Report autoDNA sulla Storia del Veicolo
Prezzo: 24,99 €
Prior information
The opening section of the report is the vehicle identification center and the first point to learn about its past. In the header, you will find basic data: VIN, make and model, drive type, and vehicle age. We also present the latest information about the vehicle here: the last recorded odometer reading or the insurance expiration date. We also inform you about the date the report was generated. The QR code will allow you to quickly go to the online version of the document.
In this section, we also present:
- Key information – a collection of the most important events from the lifecycle of a given vehicle recorded in the autoDNA database (e.g., imported/domestic car, theft, damage, total loss, service action).
- History overview – a short summary of the occurrence or non-occurrence of specific events in the history of a given vehicle.
The first section immediately shows the most important information about the vehicle and potential risks that affect the comfort and safety of using the vehicle. For the buyer, this saves time and provides a good basis for discussions about the terms of purchase. For the seller, this form of presentation helps build trust and justify the price of the vehicle. Thanks to this, both sides can assess right at the beginning whether it is worth continuing the talks about the purchase.
Report navigation
The navigation allows you to easily move around the report. Thanks to it, you can immediately go to the section that interests you the most. Next to the name of each section, there is also a notification about its character and the number of entries it contains.
Information about vehicle
In this section, based on the VIN, information about the vehicle is presented – depending on the manufacturer. Here you will find, among others: make and model, body and engine type, country of origin, model year, gearbox type, and steering system.
In this part of the report, we also provide information about the verification of the VIN check digit. Many manufacturers create the VIN according to the ISO standard. Such a number contains a check digit, which allows you to check whether the VIN is correct and whether the vehicle is properly marked. We make this information available even before you purchase the full report.
Manufacturers Recalls
In this section, you will find information about service recalls, which are actions taken by manufacturers when a factory defect is detected. This information applies to certain model series. The report describes: what the problem is, what its effects are, and what repair needs to be done at an Authorized Service Center. Where possible, the date range of production for the vehicles covered by the given recall is also provided.

Stolen Vehicle Database
This section contains the results of checking the vehicle in over a dozen stolen vehicle databases. The database of countries and institutions where we verify VINs is constantly growing.
Treat all results as informational only. We do not guarantee that the presence or absence of theft information is indisputable. Regardless of the result, the vehicle should be checked by the proper authorities.
Remember, if the vehicle you are checking is recorded as stolen, report this information to the nearest police station.
Odometer readings
In this section, you can track the history of odometer readings (i.e., mileage) of the vehicle on an interactive line chart. The data comes from various sources that autoDNA had access to at the time the report was generated, such as technical inspections, service visits, or vehicle registrations. Each point on the chart shows the date and the corresponding odometer reading.
The chart helps to assess how the vehicle was used and quickly spot illogical reading values. Sharp spikes or drops in values may require closer checking.
Recorded drops or spikes may result from data entry errors, an odometer replacement, or other interventions (including manipulation). In case of doubt, it is worth using physical documentation (e.g., a service book) or the opinion of an expert.
Remember that the chart is based on registered data, and the absence of entries in a specific period of time only informs about the lack of recorded events, not that the vehicle was stationary.
Vehicle History
In this section, you will find the vehicle history presented on a clear timeline – events are arranged chronologically, with dates and locations where they took place.
The timeline may include information about:
- odometer readings,
- registrations,
- deregistrations
- recorded tax liens,
- recorded vehicle listing prices,
- completed periodic technical inspections,
- recorded damage to the vehicle,
- damages,
- special purpose of the vehicle, e.g., taxi.
Thanks to this section, you will quickly detect potential problems and risks related to the transaction. Each event can be shown as a text description, an icon, or a graphic marking of the damage zone on the vehicle silhouette.
Last Enquiries
This section shows how often, when, and from where the VIN of a given vehicle was checked on our website – when its configuration was viewed and when a report was ordered.
This is a useful hint for a potential buyer. Many checks from different locations can mean frequent changes of ownership or that the seller has been trying to sell the car for a long time without success. These facts can be a point of argument during price negotiations.
In this part, you will also find the history of checks visualized on a map.
Equipment
This section contains information about the vehicle's equipment on the day it left the factory.
The data that may appear includes:
- upholstery color,
- paint color,
- information regarding the exterior finish of the vehicle, i.e., whether the moldings, bumpers, mirrors, and door handles are in the body color or not,
- window tint color,
- type of air conditioning,
- type of navigation system and audio system,
- heated and folding mirrors,
- electric windows,
- number of airbags, etc.
Before purchasing the vehicle, compare the data from the report with the actual condition of the car. This can reveal important information. For example, in accident-damaged cars, non-original windows or windows from a different model and year are often installed, the color of which differs from the original. A similar situation may occur, for example, with exterior mirrors. Check what was installed in the factory-new car, whether they are, for instance, folding, electrically operated, and heated. Also, pay attention to elements that the vehicle did not have in its original configuration but were added later, such as electrically operated windows.
Vehicle Archive Photos
At the end of the report, you will find archival photos of the vehicle (if available). In some cases, the same photographs may repeat if the owner shared them with different entities.
Pay attention to two warning signs:
- The vehicle has been listed for sale for a long time without success.
- The photos show damage, even though the car is now being sold as accident-free.
If you see a message about a lack of photos during the free check, they will not appear in the paid report either.
QR code
After purchasing the report, you will also receive a QR code. It will be available as part of the report and as a separate file in PDF and JPG formats. Scanning it with a phone leads directly to the report for the given VIN.
You can use the QR code in many ways:
- add it to a car listing,
- share it on social media,
- stick it on the side window of the car you are selling.
Thanks to this, anyone interested in the vehicle (online and offline) can instantly check its history.

Informazioni finali
